Orr Receives Rotary Award
Arthur Orr, VP of General Counsel, recently received the Rotary International Service Above Self Award, the most prestigious service award given by the organization. The foundation presents the award to no more than 150 members worldwide each year.
Arthur's international service with the Peace Corps and Habitat for Humanity, as well as local community involvement and currently serving as State Senator of North Alabama, were a few of the service activities highlighted in the presentation.
Arthur acknowledged his personal faith as the basis for his service. The Lord put us here to make this planet a better place to live . . . and I've made that my personal creed, he said. Congratulations to Arthur for this outstanding recognition.
Roger Lemaster Honored by Lions Club
Rome District Manager Roger Lemaster has been named a Melvin Jones Fellow by the Lions Club International Foundation.
The Melvin Jones Fellowship is the highest form of recognition conferred by the foundation. It honors those who have worked with the Lions Clubs to meet humanitarian needs in communities worldwide, helping disadvantaged children, the elderly, and other needy people.
Thanks to Roger for being dedicated to making the world a better place and congratulations for receiving this honor.
Jason Warren Highlighted in Memphis Paper
Memphis Pest Control technician Jason Warren was recently featured in the Memphis newspaper, The Commercial Appeal. Jason, a 15-year-veteran of the company, represented the industry and Cook's exceptionally well.
The article, entitled, Pest Control Technician Only gets Bugged by Lackadaisical Attitude Toward Profession explains Jason's work ethic and commitment to doing the job right. For example, when a customer has a pest problem, he writes down their addresses and calls for weekly updates.
Jason also emphasized the importance of appearance and being prompt.
