Cook's Named 5th Largest Pest Control Company in the U.S.

For the past nine years, Pest Control Technology magazine (PCT) has published a list of the top 100 pest control companies, based on revenue for the previous year. According to the May 2010 issue of PCT, Cook’s placed #5 on the list! Last year we held the 7th largest spot. In one year we climbed two places.

Cook's success has basically been achieved over a three state area with Corporate headquarters in Decatur, Alabama. PCT’s list includes both public and family owned businesses. Cook’s Pest Control holds the #1 spot as the largest private family owned pest control company!

Cook’s President and CEO Jim Aycock said, “This year’s move from number seven to the fifth largest pest control company in the nation is a real testament to all employees. This success did not just happen. Everyone was asked to become more sales minded – and you did. Everyone was asked to have positive contact with our customers – and you did. Thanks to you we had a very successful 2009 and if we continue with the programs that are in place, we will also have a very successful 2010.”

Chief Operating Officer Joey Harris added, “Being #5 is great. And I’m also impressed that we have five districts that independently would make the list. The Cullman office would rank #99, Memphis #96, Knoxville #94, Decatur #74 and Huntsville #50. Several other offices are close to achieving the revenue necessary to be included. I think Cook’s professionals are great, the best in the business, and it’s a pleasure to share in the total contribution of so many quality people.”
